I am the mokopuna (grandchild) of Papatūanuku (mother earth) and Ranginui (skyfather) and the loved child of all their children, ngā atua.  He uri hoki ahau nō Rongomaiwahine, Kahungunu, Whakatōhea. I acknowledge and pay homage to Te Kawerau ā Maki as the kaitiaki of Te wao nui a Tiriwa, the lands that I now  sit on and share Rongoā Māori. I have been immersed in this mahi (work), for nearly a decade, grounded in mirimiri and romiromi and starting to move more deeply with rongoā rākau too. I worked in community clinics consistantly for the first 5 years, as well as various holistic events, and then landd in my own clinic.

It is an honour and a priviledge to carry and share the teachings and ways of living that was passed down by tupuna (ancestors) and great teachers. I have learned from the mātauranga (through their students) of Hohepa Delamere, Manu Korewha, and Rose Pere, as well as directly from Charlotte Mildon, Ataarangi Muru, Umutakarangi, Ruatau Perez and Joanne Hakaraia. I hold gratitide in my heart and centre my work around supporting the continued lineage of this wisdom for the grandchildren of tomorrow so that we can all meet our greatness with humility and live in harmony caring for the sacrdeness of life.
